GD sẽ là thành viên tiếp theo trong BIGBANG ra mắt solo ở Nhật.
Ngày 1/4, YG Entertainment thông báo rằng “GD sẽ trình làng solo album ra mắt ở Nhật vào ngày 14/8.”
“Chúng tôi chưa thể quyết định bất cứ chi tiết cụ thể nào về album nhưng Nhật đã thể hiện sự quan tâm thích thú dành cho album tiếng Nhật đầu tay của GD.”
Daesung là thành viên đầu tiên ra mắt ở Nhật trong vai trò ca sĩ solo D-LITE vào tháng 2/2013. GD sẽ là thành viên tiếp theo.
Trước khi ra mắt, GD có kế hoạch hoàn thành solo world tour đầu tiên của mình, 2013 G-Dragon World Tour: ONE OF A KIND, bao gồm tour diễn tại 4 dome lớn ở Nhật.
Gần đây, GD đã biểu diễn tại Hàn Quốc và khai hỏa cho world tour của anh ở Seoul.

G-Dragon will be the next Big Bang member to debut solo in Japan.
On April 1, YG entertainment announced that "G-Dragon will release his solo debut album in Japan on August 14."
"We haven′t been able to decide on any specifics about the album, but the country has been showing interest in his first Japanese album," it added.
Daesung was the first member to debut in Japan as the solo singer D-Lite in February. G-Dragon is to be the second.
Before his debut, G-Dragon plans to first complete his first solo world tour, the G-Dragon 2013 World Tour: One of a Kind, which includes a four-dome tour in Japan.
Most recently the singer performed in Korea and launched his world tour in Seoul.
